The Postman has the low-down on Gregory Inglasius, the sweet sounding crooner from Bowraville, NSW.
Howdy DreamTeamers - I’ve been tasked with breaking down the great man Greg Inglis and quite frankly – I don’t wanna.
Why?
Because of Origin.
Not because I think he should be a Blue – if he didn’t want to play for NSW why the heck would you force him to? (Hello Matt Cooper and Jamie Lyon) – but because every year I think to myself that if a guy is destined to play in all three Origin games – I can’t afford to draft him into my NRL Dream Team until after the Origin series ends.
Say it with me DreamTeamers -MISTAAAAAAAKE!
Ok gratuitous Scrubs references aside – Inglis has been a smoking gun since moving to fullback fulltime for South Sydney and there really isn’t much more that needs to be said outside of the fact he is an out and out superstar.
The fact he can explode with the new DT stats values (hello those gloriously overvalued 3 points per tackle break) means that he has been able to produce season high scores of 65, 98 and 78 (as recently as Round 12 against Canberra) and he is averaging well above previous seasons.
Unfortunately suspension managed to hamper the plans of many coaches, towards the back end of the season, but his switch to fullback has made him a must-have, Origin or not.
Your thoughts on Gregory Inglisias DreamTeamers? Is he a true DT champion at fullback?

I will be watching him a bit longer to see how his scores go. Those last 4 scores have me a bit worried. On the up side, Souths have a good run home and shouldn’t switch off while aiming for a top 4 finish.
I am quietly hoping he clocks off so I don’t have to shake things up to get him in.
