Campo under the knife again

It seems now that the only thing more broke than Europe is Campo’s knee.

Mail coming through in recent hours suggests that Terry Campese’s knee surgery today (Tuesday) had terrible results. Rumours are floating that it revealed another tear to Campese’s ACL, the same one which he had torn twice in the past two seasons.

Aside from obvious repercussions for the Raiders’ season, this is a killer blow to Dreamteamers who have relied on Camp to deliver on a consistently inconsistent basis.

If the rumours are to be believed, Campese will be forced to have another knee reconstruction on Wednesday, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2012 season.

This certainly isn’t the end of the story for Campese, but it another set back that both he, the Raiders and Dream Teamers definitely didn’t need.
