Señor Winning here with a disturbing trend sweeping the NRL.
Well, by NRL, I mean two clubs in particular.
If you were like most DreamTeamers and spent your Tuesday afternoon perusing the team lists, you might have noticed something a little terrifying. It happened last week when the Broncos played Canberra. Look how well it went there. Now Steve Price thinks it’s the way to go.

What is with all of these five-eighths being benched?!
First it was Corey Norman. Ever since I traded that guy in (when his price almost peaked – perhaps my most stupid trade of the year), it seems he’s sucked. Scores a try? Scores less than 30 in DT. Now he has even less time on the field to redeem himself, he produced 13 against the Raiders in just 23 minutes on the park. Admittedly, that’s a pretty good return for the length of time he spent out there, but still. Let’s put it this way – he’s now worth less than his initial starting price. Wow.
Guess who’s next? Jamie Soward! Experienced DreamTeamers will remember when this man was king. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. He’ll pull on jersey 14 this weekend, and it remains to be seen in what capacity he’ll be used. His highest score ever against Los Tigres is 92. Lowest 29. Unfortunately, I think we’ll be seeing something far below the latter in Round 23.
What’s your take on this? Are there any winners? Vent your spleen in the comments below.

Sowie is banned for life from all my teams since he cost me a DT head to head grand final in 2009. Am loving his quiet downfall. Muhahaha.
Norman was on my hit list from the few games he played during origin last year while Locky was away. He was a GUN. At one point this year he was a $300,000 player. Massive fail not selling him but trades are like gold. Not many would have had the foresight to see this coming…
