BULLDOGS: B Barba, S Perrett, J Morris, K Inu, J Wright, J Reynolds, K Keating, A Tolman, M Ennis (c), S Kasiano, F Pritchard, D Halatau, G Eastwood.
Bench: J Graham, D Finucane, C Payne, D Stagg, J Jackson.

[Team Changes - The Bulldogs have added Greg Eastwood to the team that beat the Bulldogs, with David Stagg moving back to the bench alongside Corey Payne, Dale Finucane and Josh Jackson - with one of those three likely to miss out on the final squad. ]

V

EELS: J Mullaney, L Burt, R Morgan, W Tonga, K Sio, L Kelly, C Sandow, T Mannah, M Keating, FF MoiMoi, N Hindmarsh (c), M Ryan, R Maitua.
Bench: J Paulo, T Tautai, M Allgood, T Lasalo.

[Team Changes - Cheyse Blair and Justin Poore look to be the fall-guys after the loss to the Sea Eagles - while Ben Smith is suspended for a week. Ryan Morgan back at centre and FuiFui MoiMoi gets the start. Taulima Tautai and Taniela Lasalo join the bench, while Matthew Keating comes back in from injury for Nathan Smith. ]

Brisbane Broncos v Warriors

BRONCOS: J Hoffman, G Beale, A Glenn, J Hodges, D Copley, C Norman, P Wallace, J McGuire, A McCullough, P Civoniceva, M Gillett, S Thaiday (c), C Parker.
Bench: B Hunt, B Te’o, B Hannant, M Dodds, D Lui.

[Team Changes - Brisbane had the bye in Round 18 but Jack Reed is out with a leg injury so Alex Glenn goes from the second row to the centres and Matt Gillett gets a start. Josh McGuire holds his starting spot ahead of Ben Hannant who is on the bench with Ben Hunt, Ben Te'o, Mitchell Dodds and Dunamis Lui. ]

V

WARRIORS: K Locke, B Tupou, B Henry, L Brown, M Vatuvei, J Maloney, S Johnson, R Packer, N Friend, B Matulino, F Mateo, S Mannering (c), E Taylor.
Bench: O Slaimankhel, Sione Lousi, J Lillyman, Steve Rapira, S Ikahihifo.

[Team Changes - No Konrad Hurrell who is rested due to a foot strain, while Manu Vatuvei returns from a knee injury on the wing. Lewis Brown fills in at centre and Omar Slaimankhel goes to the bench, where he is joined by Sebastine Ikahihifo. ]

Saturday Night

Newcastle Knights v Manly Sea Eagles

KNIGHTS: D Boyd, J McManus, D Gagai, T Tahu, A Uate, J Mullen, T Roberts, Z Taia, D Buderus (c), W Mason, C Houston, J Edwards, N Costigan.
Bench: M Filipo, Z Tetevano, A Cuthbertson, A McKinnon.

[Team Changes - Kyle O'Donnell won't play any footy this weekend after his sickening knock out against Souths. Marvin Filipo replaces him in the 17, with Zeb Taia listed to start and Zane Tetevano back on the bench for the Knights. ]

V

SEA EAGLES: D Whare, J Taufua, J Lyon (c), S Matai, D Williams, K Foran, D Cherry-Evans, J King (c), M Ballin, B Kite, A Watmough, T Williams, G Stewart.
Bench: J Buhrer, J Galuvao, D Lussick, G Rose, V Mauro, D Harrison.

[Team Changes - The Sea Eagles have elected to let Brett Stewart's hamstring rest and Dean Whare is the new fullback. Daniel Harrison and Vic Mauro are in the squad to cover Glenn Stewart who is no certainty to play. ]

Melbourne Storm v North Queensland Cowboys

STORM: G Widdop, M Duffie, D Nielsen, J O’Neill, A Quinn, M Blair, C Cronk, J Bromwich,  C Smith (c), J Ryles, S Manu, R Hoffman, T Lowrie.
Bench: R Hinchcliffe, R Kostjasyn, B Norrie, K Proctor, S Vave, J Lowe.

[Team Changes - The Storm will not get Billy Slater back yet but Cameron Smith will definitely play. Cooper Cronk however might get a rest with Rory Kostjasyn or young Ben Hampton the favourites to come in (or Smith goes to halfback) if Craig Bellamy gives Cronk a rest. Another big bench but no shocks. ]

V

COWBOYS: M Bowen, A Graham, B Tate, K Linnett, A Winterstein, J Thurston (c), R Thompson, M Scott (c), A Payne, J Tamou, G Cooper, G Hall, D Johnson.
Bench: A Mitchell, R Thorby, A Sims, J Taumalolo, M Morgan, S Bolton.

[Team Changes - North Queensland gets Brent Tate, Johnathan Thurston, Matthew Scott and James Tamou back fit and healthy from Origin, while Anthony Mitchell is named for his second game off the bench since joining the club. Michael Morgan and Scott Bolton are the extras on the bench at this stage. ]

Wests Tigers v Penrith Panthers

TIGERS: T Moltzen, M Utai, B Ayshford, C Lawrence, B Ryan, C Sironen, B Marshall, A Woods, R Farah (c), K Galloway, A Blair, L Fulton, C Heighington.
Bench: J Moors, B Murdoch-Masila, M Bell, R Cashmere, J Reddy.

[Team Changes - The Tigers have Tim Moltzen back from a hamstring strain but Lote Tuqiri could be done for the season with a broken arm. There's also no named Gareth Ellis but if Adam Blair can't beat his judiciary charge - Ellis may play. Junior Moors comes in on the bench for Tom Humble. Robbie Farah replaces Masada Iosefa at hooker, while Matt Utai comes in for Joel Reddy who goes to the bench. ]

V

PANTHERS: L Coote, J Mansour, M Jennings, B Tighe, D Simmons, T Burns, L Walsh, S McKendry, K Kingston (c), N Plum, C Ciraldo, L Lewis.

[Team Changes - Penrith welcome back Luke Walsh, Sam McKendry, Luke Lewis, Michael Jennings and Tim Grant for the Round 19 clash with the Wests Tigers. Shane Shackleton also makes his Penrith début on the bench and Dayne Weston is listed in jumper 19. Clint Newton is out injured and Michael Gordon has not been named to return from injury as yet, while Etu Uaisele, Blake Austin (injured), Arana Taumata and Chris Armit are out of the squad from Round 17]

Sunday

Canberra Raiders v Gold Coast Titans

RAIDERS: R Robinson, S Earl, J Croker, B Ferguson, E Lee, J McCrone, S Williams, D Shillington (c), T Waddell, D Tilse, J Papalii, J Thompson, S Fensom.
Bench: S Berrigan, J Picker, M Nicholls, T Learoyd-Lahrs, S Mataora.

[Team Changes - No changes to the 17 that crushed the Storm - unsurprisingly. Sam Mataora is 18th man after missing with a back injury last weekend. No Josh Dugan named, but word is he trained on Monday. ]

V

TITANS: W Zillman, K Gordon, J Idris, D Peyroux, D Mead, A Sezer, S Prince (c), L Bailey, M Srama, L Douglas, B Ridge, M Minichiello, N Myles.
Bench: M White, M Henderson, L O’Dwyer, B Falloon, R James.

[Team Changes - The Titans won't have Greg Bird or Beau Champion, but Nate Myles is back and Luke Bailey might be as well. Brenton Lawrence has been dropped, while Dominique Peyroux comes into the centres for Champion. Ben Ridge starts in the second row and Beau Falloon joins Ryan James on an extended bench.  ]

St George Illawarra Dragons v Cronulla Sharks

DRAGONS: J Nightingale, B Morris, C Stanley, M Cooper, D Vidot, J Soward, B Hornby (c), D Hunt, M Rein, T Merrin, B Scott, B Creagh, D Young.
Bench: N Fien, J Latimore, J Miller, M Prior, J Marketo.

[Team Changes - St.George-Illawarra had the bye last week but have named Origin trio Brett Morris (on the wing surprisingly), Ben Creagh and Beau Scott. Josh Miller or Jake Marketo are likely to miss out on the bench, while Jack de Belin is just one of the fill-ins from last round who have been dropped. ]

V

SHARKS: M Wright, I Gordon, B Pomeroy, C Best, N Stapleton, T Carney, J Robson, B Gibbs, I De Gois, B Ross, A Fifita, J Bukuya, W Graham (c).
Bench: J Green, M Taufua, J Morris, T Frizell, A Tupou.

[Team Changes - No Paul Gallen or Jeremy Smith for the Sharks with Andrew Fifita holding his spot in the second row and Wade Graham retaining the captaincy. Jayson Bukuya is named to return from an ankle spain, while Isaac Gordon and Colin Best are back from illness. There is a five man bench featuring Jon Green, Mark Taufua, John Morris, Tyson Frizell and Anthony Tupou. ]

Monday Night

Sydney Roosters v South Sydney Rabbitohs

ROOSTERS: A Minichiello, J Leilua, M Aubusson, S Kenny-Dowall, T Moga, B Anasta (c), M Pearce, J Waerea-Hargreaves, J Friend, M Kennedy, A Guerra, B Cordner, F-P Nuuausala.
Bench: D Mortimer, T Arona, L Tasi, M Masoe.

[Team Changes - The Roosters have made just one change from the team that couldn't kick a field goal to save their lives in the draw with the Sharks, with captain Braith Anasta coming in for Nafe Seluini. However if Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is suspended for a week, a new bench player will be needed. ]

V

RABBITOHS: G Inglis, N Merritt, M King, D Farrell, A Everingham, J Sutton, A Reynolds, L Burgess, I Luke, S Burgess, C McQueen, D Taylor, M Crocker.
Bench: J Clark, N Peats, E Pettybourne, G Burgess, D Tyrrell, B Lowe.

[Team Changes - Matt King and Eddy Pettybourne got through their comeback games fine and will backup. Chris McQueen holds his spot in the starting second row, while Dave Tyrrell and Ben Lowe are the extra men on the bench. ]

The Postman’s Mail: Biggest DT impact outside of no PG13 is Brett  Morris on the wing instead of fullback. Also Cameron Smith back for the Storm is a big time bonus.

When there's DT news to be broken - The Postman always delivers... four or five hours late, depending on whether it is a weekend, public holiday or a little moist outside. But at some point the mail will be good and can you afford not to be across my DT scoops and analysis? DT prognostication and regurgitation is my business.

Thats the wrong Tigers team boys. Thats their Rd 18 team. Their Rd 19 team has Beau back to the wing for Tuqiri, and Timmy Moltzen back at F.B

Sorted – apologies Corey. Sometimes a team that is never normally named til 8:45pm on a Tuesday night slips through being updated…

Do you boys have any solid info on Cronk being rested at some stage, or are you just speculating?

At $274k and dropping I am looking to bring him in next week for Sezer.

    • The Postman July 12, 2012 at 10:36 am

Bellamy has openly stated that Cronk will be rested sooner rather than later.

The good news is he is unlikely to wait til Round 26 to do it again like he did last year with Slater and Smith.

But he WILL be rested, Bellamy cited the fact he played his first full Origin series as the reason why.

He also has a big break-even (84) for his next game so it might be worth waiting that that drops to around 50-60 before getting him – just be prepared to be without him for at least one week Nick.

        Cheers mate.

Was thinking about next week as I have spent this week’s trades getting CP back in. Hopefully he has a rest this week and then we don’t have to worry about it for the run home
