Señor Winning here to take a look how the DreamTeamers crew fared after the second round of The Eliminator.
There were a few ordinary teams floating around the first week of the Eliminator. It seems a couple of them slipped through to the second, as our DreamTeamers discovered…
Señor Winning: #winning defeated Woody’s Winners 644-556 – “A lot closer this week, but I had it wrapped up after the Sunday games. Things got interesting when I lost Liam Fulton through injury, but I’m feeling confident now – an Eliminator run is on the cards!”
NFI: Loish 720 defeated spud’s Dogs 521 – “A decent performance this week considering a few poor performances from Parker, Bell and Everingham. Still don’t know why I haven’t thrown the towel in for the Rabbitoh but I’ll get there. Was a tough contest to gauge as my opponent had his side stacked with about 8 Bulldogs players so I wasn’t sure where I stood or how I’d go until Monday night.”
Chairman Un: The Blair Witches defeated Timinators 625-529 – “A solid performance this week, almost let down by the appearance of Tom Humble on the field in the Daniel Fitzhenry position. Despite the fairly close nature of the scoreline, TBW were never in danger with James Graham delivering enough points for safety on Monday night.”
The Dummys Half: Horry’s Horrendos had another easy win, taking out NZLxILLEST 724-456. “Things were close after Friday and Saturday, but the Tigers ‘Big 3’ of Benji, Farah and Woods brought it home. The fact that my opponent had about six Warriors players in their side helped as well.”
The Postman: Dixie Ice Creams defeated krijaspannikas 616-572 (or some poor soul who isn’t playing anymore). No doubt about it I was lucky. Had a very poor week and still got across the line. But that’s all you’ve gotta do in this game… survive.
Hands Like Feet was MIA this week, but we’re sure Hegarty’s XIII got the win.
